Using Meltbead

Terms of Service

Last updated October 9, 2026

These terms explain what to expect from Meltbead’s free creative tools and how to use them responsibly.

1. Using Meltbead

These Terms of Service apply to your use of meltbead.com. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Meltbead provides free, browser-based tools for planning fuse bead and pixel art projects, along with color references and craft guides. The tools currently work without an account. We may change, pause, or discontinue a feature as the site develops.

2. Your images and patterns

You keep the rights you have in the images you choose and the original work you make. Meltbead does not claim ownership of your source images or the patterns you create with its tools. You are responsible for having permission to use any photo, artwork, character, logo, or other material you bring to a project, particularly if you share or sell the result.

Image conversion in the pattern maker runs in your browser. Drafts may be saved on your device so you can resume work; they do not sync between devices. You can remove saved drafts from the maker settings or by clearing this site’s browser data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Fair use of the site

Please use Meltbead lawfully and respect other creators’ rights. Do not use the site to infringe intellectual property rights, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or present Meltbead’s tools and content as your own service.

The site’s original text, design, and software belong to Meltbead or their respective licensors. References to bead brands are for identifying compatible supplies; those names and marks remain the property of their owners. Meltbead is an independent studio and is not endorsed by those brands.

4. Patterns, colors, and project estimates

Patterns, palette colors, bead counts, pegboard counts, dimensions, and scanning checks are planning aids. Screen colors may differ from physical beads, and actual size can change with bead pitch, boards, fabric, and fusing. Check important measurements and colors against the supplies you own before purchasing materials or making a large piece.

A QR code reference that decodes on screen does not guarantee that a finished bead or stitch project will scan. Test the physical piece under the lighting and camera conditions where it will be used. Guides are general craft information; follow the safety instructions supplied with your own materials and equipment.

5. Availability and responsibility

Meltbead is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep the tools useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free results, permanent storage of local drafts, or that every export will meet a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of any pattern that matters to you.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meltbead is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the site, such as lost project time, materials purchased from an estimate, or lost browser drafts. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Other sites and services

Some pages link to outside websites, such as bead manufacturers, technical references, or other resources. Those sites have their own content and policies. A link does not mean Meltbead controls or endorses the linked site.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Meltbead changes. The date at the top of this page shows when this version was last updated. If a change materially affects how the tools work or how your content is handled, we will explain it on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Questions or concerns

For questions about these terms, a copyright concern, or a problem with a tool, email yimin.space.fe@gmail.com or use the contact page. You can also read our Privacy Policy.
