Product identity is exact. Screen color is an estimate.

Codes, names, product links, and photos are checked against Perler’s Shop by Color catalog. Use the product code when buying or sorting beads.

Perler does not publish numeric color values. Approximate values for 95 established current colors come from the MIT-licensed BeadColors dataset at a pinned revision. The 23 PER176xx values were sampled from Perler product photos. Lighting, screens, dye lots, and ironing change perceived color, so compare critical shades with beads you own.

How many Perler colors are in this chart?

This chart contains 118 single-color product codes found in Perler’s catalog on September 12, 2026. It excludes clear, glow, metallic, striped, and mixed products because one RGB value cannot represent those effects.

Are the HEX and RGB values official?

No. Perler publishes product codes, names, and photos but does not publish numeric RGB or HEX values. Meltbead labels every screen value as approximate.

Why are eight colors listed as older codes?

Those eight codes remain in the referenced community color dataset but were absent from Perler’s current single-color catalog when checked. They are shown to help identify old stock and excluded from automatic matching.

Can I use a color directly in the pattern maker?

Yes. Select “Use in pattern maker” on a current color. The tool opens with the Perler palette and that color selected as the editing brush.
